Henry Lake

I've been invited to join one of my wife's cousins on his annual 
pilgrimage to Henry Lake (in eastern Idaho near Yellowstone) in late 
September. It's a big lake and I understand the wind that time of 
year can blow the hair right off your head. Can anyone share any 
advice or tips?
