Salt and Rain

Ok,

So Ive tried to get my butt out on the beach early these past two days but
used the rain as an excuse to stay in bed.

Although its probably not going to rain tomorrow, is there any reason why
fishing would be any better or worse in the rain?

My understanding is overcast is better than blazing sun, but any opinions on
the liquid sunshine factor?
