Headed to picnic point after work yesterday and there are some fish
around. Lots of debris in the water and the fish were jumping about 150
yards offshore until around 7:45pm. At that time we had like a 20 minute
window where the debris cleared up and big fish were surfacing as close
as 30 feet from myself and another fisherman. Wasn't paying attention
and missed a large fish on a popper which still pains me to think about.
Other than that I saw a small cutt caught and that was it.
The fish are definitely there and a small boat would have been helpful
to get out past the debris line. Will bring my new kayak/kickboat out
there this weekend for another shot.
