I hope you got up this morning (but I didn't see you if you were at the I-5). Fish
were everywhere: Fresh, bright and hungry. We got into 'em pretty well. They like
the flies pretty deep. Heavily weighted flies and sinking line were the ticket.
Dumbbell headed flies (small) were particularly
affective. I'll layoff for the weekend as my rotator cuff of my right arm is getting
pretty sore (casting heavy flies and fighting heavy fish!), plus it'll keep me out of
the middle of the hordes of mouthbreathers leaving their piles of trash and snarled
line on the beach (I musta picked up a mile of
discarded line from the beach!)
Tight lines - Sean
