Hi all.

I spent over ten years living in the Spokane area and fairly frequently have to return to the area for this and that (rental house over there, etc.).  When I lived in the Spokane area it was a time in my life when I (for some strange reason) was not flyfishing, so I never had the opportunity to check out the Little Spokane.

Recently a buddy of mine whose parents live in Mead had the opportunity to fish it near the Wandermere Golf Course and said he did quite well.  I immediately went to my maps and my regs book to learn a little about where/what/when.  Realizing there is quite a lot of water out there, plus it splits into the West Branch up near Elk, I thought I might do best by putting the question to the group here... does anyone know what the best stretches of the Little Spo are?  Are there particular areas that hold more browns?  Are there even very many, or very large browns in the river?  What are the largest bows that have been caught?

Any thoughts, tips, fish stories, etc. would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks and as always...

-Jim
