The former seems to be a variant of the Alaskabou patterns. I have not
seen a pale pink/purple alaskabou, But Showgirl uses a cerice marabou,
and this pink, so it just seems to be a variant of that pattern.
I actually just saw Chum Candy about 2 hours ago at Orvis in Bellevue
and I wondered why a fly that small would interest chum.
Typically when I am seeking standard patterns, the Umpqua site, and The
Salmon and Steelhead Fly tying Guide are my two sources, and the SSFTG
shows chum candy to be the marabou version with a hot pink marabou.
But google seems to show more hits for the green version. good luck with
this one.
