I fished the South Fork of the Stilly Saturday as the water clarity
improved, did manage to hook and lose a good size silver and later landed a
12" Dolly. A report from a pal who lives on the SF said that yesterday the
water was almost perfect but after just one day of light rain today it's
blown out. Anyone know the whole story behind the work Snohomish County
apparently did upstream to expose a huge bank which is washing into the
river after a rain? I attempted to contact WDFW to get the story and what,
if anything is being done to correct the problem but haven't heard a thing.
