I agree Kevin. A bunch of garbage stuck in the front of my waders by the
end of a day of fishing is a good thing - wish everyone would do this. My 4
and 9 year old boys are always coming up to me (real proud) and saying,
"Look what I just picked up!" Last weekend we visited a campsite for the
second time in a short period by the N. Fork Teanaway and they noticed that
it looked much better than the first time we pulled up there... that's what
it's all about.

I also think it's great that Worley Bugger is doing this cleanup. Although
I can certainly see the PR and marketing in it, it's still a darn good thing
that they're going to all the trouble.

well its good to see that you have a clean up day like this. when im
outdoors my philosophy is as follows: take only memories and
pictures...leave only footprints. and always leave the place i visited
cleaner then when i got there... i always end up back at the car with stuff
in my pockets that ive picked up during the day...a can..a wrapper...some
cig
butts. if we all did that everytime we are out...there wouldnt be any
litter! my truck might be a little messy at times...BUT NOTHINGS GOING OUT
THE WINDOW!!! i remember one incident when i was 21...my cousin threw a gum
wrapper out the window on a rural road....i stopped... told him to go out
and
find it! or bring me 2 gum wrappers back if you cant find that one! well he
was out there looking for 10 mins...i said ok ..got the message? he
did....and to this day he still does...25 yrs later!!!! ive never been
at
a campround that i didnt leave cleaner then when i arrived....even if it was
only a bottle cap i picked up! maybe im this way cause i grew up in the
big city....and all there is is litter? its pretty windy in chicago...and i
really dont care to watch papers and wrappers blow by! less then 90 days to
go here!!! kevin
