I recently became hooked on fly fishing after a 3 day trip to the Sacramento River in August. My boss supplied me with a new Sage XP 690 rod and a Ross Gunnison reel. We were guided by the Fly Shop in Redding,( great guys to fish with for beginners). Upon returning home I became obsessed with catching anything possible on a fly rod. I caught and released 7or 8 Humpys and one Silver which was a gas on a 6# rod. I now want to start fishing for cutthroat and need some help on where to go in the Snohomish/King/ Skagit county area. I also need some help on what I should be using and how to fish for cuts. I did purchase another spool with an sinking tip and purchased several yellow spiders. Am I on the right track and where do I go? I also want to try the Yakima, any help would be appreciated. Bear with me I'm learning!
