Hi All,
I don't know that I've properly introduced myself --so I'll take this opportunity to come out of shell. My name is Craig DiPaolo, and like most of the folks on this list, I spend a lot of my life either fly fishing or daydreaming about fly fishing when I'm at work (which is currently the case).

I'm originally from Vermont and have been living in Washington for about 2 years now. I've been getting thoroughly hooked on this state's fishery, too. Highlights of my '01 season include a few banner Coho days and catching big Rocky Ford trout on tricos.

Anyway, it was my recent introduction to fly rodding for silvers that's got me thinking about what the run must be like up in Alaska. I've started investigating the process of renting fly-angling friendly cabins in the Tongass national forest for next year. However, having never been there it's hard to know for sure exactly what to expect from any cabin in particular.

So I'll throw the question out there. Has anyone rented any of these cabins for the purpose of salmon fishing? Can you recommend any cabin in particular? My main interest would be in casting from beaches (rather than freshwater angling) and hooking lots of silvers.

Thanks for any tips and tight lines!
