This watershed is one of the places where I've employed the policy of "I will take you there but I won't tell you about it just in passing, and then I will ask you to follow the same policy". The people that I've shown it to all felt that this was the best policy as well; once they spent a day there. People who haven't checked it out in person don't have much of an appreciation for the situation and often pass on information quite freely without regard to impact because they don't really know what they are talking about. It's small water with no protective regulations. I think it was inappropriate to discuss any details of this fishery in a public forum (searchable Internet database) like this. Would you announce such info in a crowded auditorium? I hope that in the future when someone asks about a fragile unprotected fishery they will get a response via private email instead of a forum that is subject to public search engines.
Have fun Paul
