In my home water, ONLY Midlle fork of Snoqualmie river is Open year around, so I do fish for Steelhead and Salmon.
 
Summer water stay cool so fishing is good, also summer steelhead is awesome experience if you get them of the surface on the dray's with a 5-7 weight rods, very memorable experience, hatchery fish run in 20"+ class.

In SW Wisconsin pretty much any stream that stayed below 70 degrees in the
summer had trout.   Is that the case here?
