haven't fogotten.... I will finally be going back to work on
Monday and should have additionally information as far as a date by the end of
the week. Once I have a date, I will be contacting the folks who
volunteered to donate items and/or time for the event. So, if you missed

Right after the first of the year, I will post the
date of the 'clave.
I need report to my new duty station and look at the schedule. Still
looking at March/April time frame...
We'll definitely have the
following events:
1) Potluck and BYOB. I'll solicit inputs in
the near future
2) Tying demos. Anyone have a special/unique
style or pattern that they
want to share? I''ll volunteer to
demonstrate tube flies and possibly, if
time permits,
a unique style
of tying a steelie pattern.
3) Raffle
4) Grab bag tying
contest.... Lot's of interest in this event!
5)
Auction. I am going to donate 2 dozen Steelie/Trout flies for
auction
with the proceeds going to Don Johnson's great organization
(Caddis for
Kids). Does anyone have something they might want
to contribute for
auction?
6) Activities for the
kids... digging for coins in a haystack, three
legged races,
etc...
7) Inputs?
We are headed in the right
direction. Everyone so far has generously
donated/volunteered
something- great! I will be getting with you folks off
line in a
couple weeks to generate a list of what we currently have.
