To
make things more confusing, I've heard that folks on the southern Washington
coast refer to SRCs as "bluebacks." Other nicknames I've heard for
SRCs are Harvest Trout, Tinsel Trout and Yellowbellies. I think I've even heard
them called "Greenbacks." Anyone know of more aliases for this
fish?

Local names for species, especially salmon, can be totally contradictory and confusing.
Canadians, up in the Gulf Islands anyway, used to refer to immature resident coho as "Bluebacks"
But then down here, a common name for coho is "silver", which is also applied to Kokanee, which is a landlocked sockeye or "red".
