I'm thinking of going up to the Wallace State Fish Hatchery tomorrow morning to see if any steelies are about (in the Wallace River - NOT the hatchery!) Has anyone been up that way lately? I've never fished this river, though I hear it's pretty good for hatchery fish this time of year. Any advice? BTW, I'm STILL trying to touch my first steelhead after trying for 6 solid years!!! I refuse to dunk bait, but I'm starting to wonder.....
