I took a fly tying class this winter and really enjoyed it. During the class I had an opportunity to try a variety of vises and now have a good idea of what I'll purchase. Unfortunately all of the vises were the c-clamp type so I never had a chance try a pedestal. Without getting into specific vise recommendations does anyone have any thoughts on the advantages/disadvantages of pedestal vises. Don
