Preston,

I was looking at the Cabelas lace-up waders in their catalog this
very morning. I've been enjoying a pair of Ronny breathable stocking
foots (feets?) for the past 3 seasons, although with cold feet in all
but the warmest water. The list discussion on boot-foot waders has me
intrigued by the lace-up feature of the new Cabelas.

I tend to be a bit suspicious of proprietary technologies such as
Cabelas Dry-Plus II that are suggested to be the equal brand names
such as Gore-Tex.

In your experience, how does the Cabelas breathable material compare
with others such as Gore-Tex, or those used in Orvis, Hodgeman or
Ronny waders?

Thanks,

Kent
