To All Who Care,

This past week on the Yakima has been pretty hot and
not many people fishing. Last Friday when the snow
seemed to have crippled Seattle, clients brought to
hand nearly 40 fish, of which many were WHITEFISH.
One whitefish was 19 inches for you whitefish
enthusiasts out there. We were the only anglers on
the entire river as far as I could tell from what we
drove and floated past.

Yesterday, the river was coming down and back into
color. 3 of us landed 25-30 fish, on nymphs, both as
dropper and deeper, large dries, little dries and
streamers. Only two of those fish yesterday were
under 14 inches and several to many were over 17.
Again, very few anglers taking advantage of the great
fishing and little pressure there right now.

Enjoy your fishing!

Dave
