I agree with Kent 100%. At times I've found myself getting a bit myopic; focusing too much on catching the most fish and the biggest fish in the shortest time to the exclusion of the rest of the adventure. Living in the Pacific or Inland Northwest provides an amazing variety of fishing opportunities within a day's drive. If you find yourself going to the same places every year then you should seriously consider the alternatives; including those not well known. For me, traveling down a new road is a real thrill.
