I must have run into a different group then. I only talked to two fella's as they were loading their boat onto the trailer and I was the only one on the boat ramp at the time.
I look forward to hearing the details of the report. I was fishing with my Father in Law out there 4 years ago when he was cleaning a fish with a parasite in it. A DFW staff member happened to be there at the time and didn't recognize the parasite and took the fish with him to examine it at the lab. A year later the fishing tanks and I hear that lots of fish are sick with the parasite. Last year was slow but the fish looked healthy and this year they seem much improved in size and health. Hopefully the lake is turning the corner and will return to its normal status. I think we all love to see the triploids top the 22 inch range but hard to say if the lake is rich enough to support that size of fish. Dell, thanks to you and the other volunteers for helping out with the study. This region owes many thanks to those like you who volunteer their time and money to improve the quality of the fishing.
