Dan,
There are a lot of places to stay in the methow valley with numerous places
to fish as well as a private lake, Moccasin Lake, with nice trophy sized
fish. Even though the rivers are closed until June 1st, the fish in the
lakes are very active and fight hard. I just got back today from a week
stay at Derry's Resort (Camping) on Pearrygin Lake. Over this last week, I
brought to hand at least 40 bows 12-16 in. with numerous number of hits and
LDRs. While everyone in my party were chucking gear, I flyfished and out
fished everyone else 3:1 using a Teeny T200 sinksip and a #12 black wooly
bugger or a black damsel nymph. I love the look on everyone's face when I
brought in and released ANOTHER nice looking bow. :) Overall, it was a great
week for fishing.

Enjoy your trip over there and let us know how you do.

James
