First thanks to Kent for the info on this lake (Tye). Fished 12 -6 with my daughter trolling woolybuggers and doing a little casting towards shore eating lunch and hitting the playground. Picked up several bows (first planters I've caught in quite a while...sad looking fish indeed).
Anyway none of that was very important the high points were -Finally finished rigging up my kickboat with a seat in back for her to tide on and it worked great; a fun way to go and good enough for the lower canyon on the Yak. -Having her fall asleep against my shoulder on the way home and just looking at her sun tinted skin and exhausted face. She's a trouper and continues to evolve towards my dreams of the best fishing partner ever. Seems like just yesterday she was riding in the backpack while I fished the Metolius, no doubt tomorrow will come just as fast. Have fun Paul
