It was not nearly as crowded as expected. Arrived Wed. PM to see only 4-5
other campsites filled. The campground never filled up completely all
weekend. Weather was blustery and cloudy thru Thursday, then began to clear
up. It was (finally) actually hot on Sunday.

The fishing: really not bad. Had about equal success with both damsel
nymphs and adults. And stalking cruising sippers with Callibaetis patterns
in the dead calm after dusk magic hour was thouroughly entertaining, and
actually sucessful.

A few fish were picked up with a trolled #12 Seal Bugger and a #8 red
Carey's Special.

All fish caught were frisky, firm and healthy.

A question: are those spiny-rays in the lake acutally bass, or yellow
perch?

Tom
