Went out to take a look in Dyes inlet today and the bay is loaded with chums headed for the creek.  I saw many chromer females jumping, but the males had their vertical red bars going and they were starting to darken a bit, which is typical.
 
As for the discussion on guns, I absolutely feel the need to protect myself.  From what?  From that lurker guy Gregg Mindt from Oregon that started this whole thread.  I've fished with Gregg on many occassions and I've learned my lesson.  I don't fish with that rotten SOB unless I'm carrying my fully automatic M-16 with the grenade launcher attached.  And I'll have him know that if he ever comes near my Scotch or tries to pilfer my flies again, I'll blow his sorry butt to Lake Oswego and back.  Peace on Earth.  Jeff
