You're absolutely right Jim.
Guys over 50 whose:
Kids have gone away to college and are living on the east coast;
have an English wife whose hobby is gardening and would never trust
their husbands to mow the lawn correctly; are self-employed with the
kinds of projects that can be executed at home or in an office at
any time should be in their own category of something like,
"retireds and aberrations."

I fished somewhere in the neighborhood of 40 times this year. I don't
consider that a lot, I could fish more, but much more than that would not be
good for my marriage. If I can fish that many times again next year I'll be
thrilled.
I think that responses to this thread should include marital status and
working/retired status... I'm envious that one could spend so many days on
the water!
