Yeah Tom, I was fishing a fly that I learned from the guy at Rock Creek
Mercantile in Montana, a Wonder Bugger, but I call it a Christmas Tree
because it looks like a bunch of brightly colored tinsel, I was fishing
with a Type III five foot sink tip on top of my sinking line, and
stripping it at a medium pace through the tail of the pool.

If I were to guess, you had your fly moving slow and deep when you
