I have a 9' #5wt Sage VPS for a couple of years now and its a great rod. I use it for just about all my trout fishing. My son just built a beautiful Winston Ibis rod,7'6" or 7'9", not sure, #3wt has not fished it yet but it cast really nice. Never fished a T&T rod. My favorite #7wt is a Talon rod i built a few years ago and use for just about all my saltwater fishing,silvers,pinks and chum. It also a great rod for casting in strong winds on some of the big lakes of BC,Eastern Oregon and Eastern Washington.
