I've been in reno for the past month working, snowboarding, fishing the truckee river and winning money on the craps table. I just got back on sunday and a friend of mine and I want to teh yak on monday. On the drive over there we decided to get a guide. It was time to treat ourselfs. We went with johnny from cascade angler and had a blast. We probibly put 40 or so fish on the boat and missed double that. no kidding. we had a great time, but I back and was looking for another fishing buddy, what are you doing? later rich

one of the best steelhead rivers around is the Santiam, about 30 minutes east of Salem. Plenty of places to go, and the river produces one of the hottest fighting fish I've ever caught. It would be worth your time to go there after class or on weekends.
