Deschutes at Maupin or Yak

has anyone fished the Deschutes in Maupin, Oregon lately? if so i would really appreciate a report as i am thinking of a run down tomorrow.

also anyone floated the farmlands in Ellensburg recently or the canyon. whats working and would a pontoon be safe?
