| Richard, You were using the deep water shooting heads, if I read you right. Were any of your group using one of the multiple head lines from Rio or Orvis, etc? I've thougt they would be good in river currents, even though there would be some hinging action at the junction of the running line and the add on line, but have not used one in the saltwater. I was wondering if the line would sink fast enough for the currents, or if there would be too much running line to cause it to not drop as far as was desired. Looking at the packaging of these lines makes them seem like a good alternative to buying an additional line and spool. Ideas? Paul |
