That's good advice. Does anyone know which law enforcement agency would be
appropriate to contact. I'd like to ask them if they have seen any break-ins
since early last summer.

Consider sleeping in your rig either where you park, or down back towards
town. I have given up on camping and just grab a cheap motel, drop my gear
of there, head to the lake, pack my rods and tube down to the lake, leave
the car unlocked with NOTHING of value inside, and then relax. No problems
so far. Good luck. Fishing there can be great this time of year.

Speaking of break-ins, I'd just like to say that I'd be very grateful if
listmembers would continue to pass on info if they hear of or are victims of
any break-ins.

I love to fish and camp at Nunnally, for example. I can pack all rods and
fishing gear into the lake. However, I don't know what to do with camping
gear this fall.

Any ideas? I just try to hide or not take anything of value. Can't hide my
coleman stove, sleeping bag, etc...

Mind you're careful about leaving anything of value in your vehicle.
One listmember experienced a break-in while he was on the water last
year, losing all his camping gear to a skilled (and quick) thief.
