Thanks for the information from you and Bob, I had wondered if there were laws i might be treading on.  But, as you said, I also figured the game dept. would not much care (it did hit the window before Dec. 31).  I did not get to the bird fast enough and I left the carcass for winter scavengers, all I really wanted were the feathers.
