Go to:  http://wdfw.wa.gov/fishcorn.htm  and scroll to the Harvest and Catch reports toward the bottom of the page.  They have posted the 1999 sport catch results and some of those streams get steelhead.  Another stream spoken of sotto voce, is Goodman Creek.  I have never fished it but have been told it is pretty good during high water.  It is on page 75 of the Gazetteer.

Subject: Unsung West OP Streams?

I was scanning thru the quads in my Washington topographical maps book trying to determine if there were "fishy" streams on the west edge of the Olympic Peninsula outside of the usual suspects (e.g., Queets, Quillayute, Hoh, Calawah, etc).  I came up with a few "possibles" and wondered, in a general sort of way, if others have given any of these a "go" and if so, what their experiences have been:

Copalis River
Moclips River
Wreck Creek
Duck Creek
Camp Creek (boy this one looks reeeaallly inviting!)
Raft River
Kalaloch Creek

Some of these flow within the reservation boundary so getting there may involve a native guide.  If anybody has taken a look at any of these streams I would sure like to hear about it.  Thanks.
