It takes about 45 minute ferry ride, and then it's only half an hour from bremerton to Cady Lake. You do have to pay 9.50 both directions to take a car ... so it's more expensive as far as driving up to pass lake or something. But it's a lot more relaxing when 45 minutes of the trip can be spent sipping coffee and reading.
Oh yeah for those that aren't familiar with Cady lake, it's a private lake that the owner, Larry, keeps up as a public fly fishing only lake. There is a donation box by the landing to help support the upkeep costs of planting fish, mainting garbage and porta potty, and regrading the road ...
