Follow the river on the map upstream from Maple Valley. There's a little
place called Landsburg up there well before the reservoir. You'll see the
Landsburg road cross the river there.

To get to Landsburg go east on Kent-Kangley road (272nd) and follow the fork
left. The fork occurs just a little East of Hwy 169 (Maple Valley Hwy). My
impression of the Landsburg stretch from the bridge there is that it's high
gradient and mostly pocket water. I looked at it on June 1st and although
it looked neat there were about 20 cars in the lot there - needless to say I
bailed! The lower river is more classic, but one of these days I'm going to
hit the upper stretches with a short/light rod and some standard attractors
like EHC, Royal Wulffs, Stimulators, Humpies, etc... it looks like a hoot.

I had forgotten all about the Cedar opening up. I was
just looking at the regs. Whereabouts is the
Landsburg Bridge?

Thanks,
