nice blog/gallery, looked like a really good time. Lots of happy faces. I've wanted to make that trip for years and it still eludes me....so many waters.

Any runs/pools near the
campsites seemed to be devoid of fish.

Not to disparage your fishing in anyway but I have experienced this same situation and conclusion before (more than once) only to discover that the fish around the sites are still there but much more spooky (that is 'easily frightened' not 'scary') *g* Might have been the case there as well. Waders may or maynot be cool but a red shirt is almost always a no-no in my book; but I've been known to make exceptions for tank tops and tight 30ft loops.

I'm inspired to share my CO vacation album as well...I don't travel quite as light as you.
