See, that's what I like most about you, Kent - you can see the forest AND the trees! I was looking only at the trees...
As for your political point - I'm with ya, buddy! Shared sacrifice. Until we can get folks to understand that concept, we're gonna continue on the same dead-end path we've been on for the last few years. I'm willing to pay more in taxes/fees when I know the things that are important are being improved by them. Too bad WDFW/State of WA/Tim Eiyman can't see that. Oh, well. Political rant - off. Now, howz the fishing?! This board seems awfully quiet lately. Some folks from church, and I are gonna try to hit the lower Sky tomorrow in search of Silvers or whatever other finney things we can chase (legally). I think what Mark may have been inquiring about was whether the lake's unfortunate weed infestation has choked off fishing altogether. The weeds are a non-native, introduced species that have rapidly encroached on clear water. The local homeowner's association, two fly clubs and WDFW are mobilizing to eradicate the weeds. Last I heard the price tag for the fix will easily top the low 6 digit mark, which, thanks to Mr. Eyeman and his free-lunch supporters, is money not currently available in the state budget.
