I hit the Narrows this morning in the 15-20 knot winds.  I managed to whack myself in the back of the head with a Clousers before switching to an off shoulder cast which made life much better.   A few nice salmon just out of casting range, as usual, and I managed to land a half dozen 8-13” fish during the last few hours of the ebb.

Hit Lincoln Park on Thursday for the first few hours of the flood, urban fishing at its best but no one was getting anything, not even the gear guys all around me.

Just went out to John McDonald park with the wife and dog and found the Snoqualmie is blown out beyond belief, it must have really poured somewhere last night.   The river was in pretty good shape on Tuesday morning when I was there but now I don’t think I’ll be doing any steelheading for a while.
