Thanks for a great read.  Your descriptions certainly appealed to me.  I think probably more so since I have been out on the saltchuck chasing the returning fall coho in lower Puget Sound.  They are notoriously reluctant to take the fly at this time of year, but what blast when they do.  So when you talk about seeing the water swell as the fish attacks your fly, I imagine the same thing happening at the end of my 7 wt.  Yesterday was a good day to be out, but  the coho were not in the mood to play, at least where we wanted to play with them.  Enjoyed your trip, and thanks for sharing it.
