Kelowna (BC) area lake suggestions?

In early July I will be spending a week in the Kelowna area for my youngest son’s hockey camp. I was pretty sure that booking that camp in Kelowna would put me within a day trip to some decent lakes. Is anyone familiar with that area of the Okanogan?
