Have talked with a number of people who have gone into the Pasayten
Wilderness area on pack trips. I believe they started from eightmile creek
area and went into the Cougar and Hidden Lakes. I understand the fishing is
unbelieveable and so are the bugs. I guess they had trouble distingusihing
between the horses and the mosquitoes... which one to put the saddles on.
But the trip was incredibly beautiful. Don't have the packers name, but I'm
sure if you get hold of the packers association for WA State, they'll have a
listing of reputable guides that would be more than happy to do a trip for
you. Good luck!
