Hi, Is there any nice utils or wrappers around wal-e? We would like the ability to quickly reload our dev environment with particular snapshots from prod. Currently, one would have to manually create the recovery.conf, and then use the recovery_target_time to set the value to shortly after the backup was taken to expedite loading of the database (we don't have to wait until all wal segments are replayed).
1) Is there an easier method? 2) I saw there was a recovery conf generator, though it was removed <https://gitorious.org/wal-e/wal-e/commit/5ada872cb6ed7e8d3fe638340591e515620e3217>. Is there another similar project or recommend approach (rather than manually running the steps) ?
