Disc Burner software and bootable CDs

Hello
Is it possible to create a bootable CD using builtin CD writer and Disc Burner software on the recent iMacs (OS 9.1)? 


I have the entire contents of the OS 8.5 iMac Restore and OS 8.5 
Install discs saved to the hard drive and was wanting to create a 
bootable CD for our other iMac which runs 8.5 (originals were lost 
and I went to some effort to find someone with the right ones!).



I Have burnt the iMac Restore disc, to all intents and purposes 
identical to original. It is recognised by the OS 8.6 machine and has 
all the files on it, but will not act as a bootable CD.


Any help appreciated!
