Some advice please.
We have received several messages with the characteristics of the
BadTrans virus: gobbledegook or blank, with the underscore in front
of the sender address. We have replied to these by removing the
underscore and informed the senders they had the virus.
My wife has now received a yahoo groups digest as a blank message
with an attachment. This is the second one like this from that group
- the other was about a week ago but the ones in between have been
fine. She has deleted without trying to open the attachments. There
is no underscore in front of the sender name and the message looks
normal till opened.
Does BADTRANS affect the Mac OS? Is it possible that we have been
infected? Any suggestions as to what may be happening?
We have been on the Net for 7 years now, and have never been virus
affected but we are a bit worried.
