I'm just quietly wondering if you have a server connection set up that is connected over the net and that this server alias exists in the Servers Folder in the System Folder. This could happen if you used the Chooser to connect to a computer over the Internet and clicked "Automatically Connect" or have "Restore Connections To Servers" as a setting in (I think it's) the Power Control Panel. Please note that actual names of settings, folders and control panels come from the dark recesses of my mind - no warranty given to their accuracy...
