It is unlikely to be anything to do with Softwindows or the Macintosh
itself. More likely is a bad installation of your Mapmaker, or a
mis-configuration of preferences within Mapmmaker, or gasp, a user input
error.

(I have no idea what your experience with the software is, so I have to
include the latter possibility - no offence intended.)
