How to fake a monitor...

Hello all,

I have just acquired a G4 and want to use an external monitor only. 
However, the
G4 will only start if there us a monitor plugged into the build-in 
card. Even if that monitor is not turned on, it will work fine.

I recall reading somewhere that you can jumper some of the pins on 
the DB-15 connector to fool the machine into thinking there is a 
monitor present.

I don't want to have an ancient, low res monitor sitting there just 
so I can use my nice Silicon Graphics solid state screen, so any 
ideas where i might find that info will be greatly appreciated.
