Hi all I think I have fixed the slow redraw, but now the Trash is extremely slow when emptying. Normally if I empty say 100Mb of files it takes but a few second to empty. Now it takes about 20 minutes!
Are there lots of small files, or a few big ones? AFAIK the time taken to empty the trash is more directly related to the number of files than the size.
Can anyone shed some light on this? Is there a simple fixit?
