When I link into a client's network on site using the appleshare in chooser
I make the connection okay but I have to force quit the chooser to continue
working.
My computer occasionally locks up when I am linked to the network and the
only way I can restart it is by pressing the reset button on the back.
My Tibook had a major crash after two days plugging into their system and I
am concerned about possible damage to my computer.
Anybody have any ideas?
Sounds like their network is dodgy. If it's losing packets or the
servers aren't responding it could cause AppleTalk (and the rest of
the machine) to freeze up.
What are they using as their server that you're connecting to? A
windows box? A Mac? Which version of the OS is it running?
