Dunno, depends on who wrote the software to make the ADSL connection, remember, there are two ways of connecting to ADSL, either using PPPoE, which requires a PPPoE client (eg. software running on your Mac), or direct Ethernet, which doesn't require a client. Also, you may be connected to a LAN that is in turn connected to ADSL, so what you're asking is open to interpretation. PS.
